Symposium “Portraying Countryside in Central European Literature”

On 23-24. March 2021, the symposium "Portraying Countryside in Central European Literature" will be held online, which was originally to take place in Budapest in the second half of 2020. The symposium is part of the project of the same name, which was supported by the Visegrad Fund. Participants from partner institutions involved in the project (University of Ostrava, Institute of Slovak Literature and Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest) as well as other researchers from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and Slovenia will present their contributions. A total of 29 papers are announced, of which 4 are prepared by doctoral students. The contributions will be given in Czech, Slovak, Polish or English. English abstracts will be available for all papers. For more on the topics of the papers see below in the attached program.
